Gibran academy is a group of motivated and enthusiastic students and friends of Gibran around the globe.
Our objective is to help new comers, fans and lovers of Gibran to discover the other texts, paintings, sculptures, and love letters that were for decades Gibran's most valuable hidden treasures.
Our target is to shed light onto those beautiful places in texts, drawings and original masterpieces that were undisclosed for more than a century now.
Gibran artistic work extends way beyond the well-known books of The Prophet and The Madman. Gibran is a poet and a painter. Auguste Rodin, the famous French sculptor and friend of Gibran, said of him: "I know no one else in whom drawing and poetry are so linked together as to make him a new Blake".
We strive to:
Organize international exhibitions of Gibran's original paintings, Drawings and books around Europe and the world.
Organize with our everyday growing team around the world Gibran-related events: Interviews, Congresses, Symposiums, Soirees Musicales, Contemplation and reading nights.
Promote raising funds to help supporting the academy events, and to help building the library and the conservatory.
Constantly discover rare and hidden treasures of Gibran: drawings, paintings, writings, and poetry. Make the discoveries available online.
Highlight the most important results of dissertations, theses, books, critiques written about Gibran recently and in the past.
